According to the Chinese tradition oelheld celebrated the foundation of its subsidiary in Shanghai on April 4th, 2011. Therewith oelheld is at all crucial export markets represented with its own subsidiary.

The highlight of the journey of Dr. Manfred Storr, his son Martin Storr and Ken Bausch representing the parent company was the celebration of the foundation of oelheld China. More than 150 invited machine manufacturers, dealers, customers and business partners attended this event.

All guests were impressed by the performance of the traditional Chinese lion dance. The lion dance banishes the evil spirits and demons. In traditional Chinese belief the lion represents the connection between the humans and heaven. He is the bearer of luck, happiness and prosperity.

The new CEO of Storr-oelheld Trading Co., Ltd. Martin Storr has every reason to be happy because the only way so far for oelheld and its Chinese business has been straight to the top. So no surprise this event was a complete success. Especially the program had a lot to offer: After the welcome and the speeches by the managing partners Dr. Manfred Storr and Martin Storr, there was an interesting technical lecture by oelheld’s export manager Ken Bausch and managing director John Wang.

In the evening at a fine dinner everybody toasted to the future of oelheld China. Martin Storr indicated once more that a solid base has been created and the most important steps have been taken. He sees an enormous growth potential for high-tech products in the future. Last but not least there is to say that oelheld Germany wishes its colleagues in the Far East all the best.
